cs:go academy team
Chris first started playing CS after watching his older brother play CSS back in 2011. Shortly after, he developed an interest in the competitive scene and aspires to play at as high a level as possible. Storm Esports is his first competitive team, and he looks forward to the challenges and learning opportunities. When he isn’t playing CS:GO, he also enjoys chess, puzzles, and creating videos and art.
Don’t let the luscious golden locks fool you, Jared isn’t here to mess around. His only goal is to succeed and bring down the competition. He’s played CS:GO since 2015, on and off, but is more recently involved in the Competitive scene. In his free time he likes to take people’s loot in Escape From Tarkov or just hang out with friends in Discord. One thing is for sure though, if you have Jared on your team – he always brings the positive vibes and good attitude.
Michael has been playing CS:GO since 2018 and has always been very competitive. Starting off with sports as a kid, his energy and drive for winning has more recently transitioned to the gaming scene. He hopes to bring a competitive edge to the server during the ESEA season. Michael is excited to be joining STORM’s organization and believes that it will be a very successful season for the CS:GO team.
Tyler started playing video games at the age of 4 after receiving a PS2 for Christmas. Transitioning to PC games and subsequently CS:GO in 2015, he has played CSL and NACCS for his collegiate Esports program. Tyler also enjoys playing Tarkov, Rocket League, and watching Futurama. As STORM is his first org to compete for outside of the collegiate scene, he is excited to work with the team and develop as a player.
Andrew picked up CS:GO in 2017, a convert from competitive TF2 and growing up with team sports. After a few years of inconsistent FPS play, he decided to commit his time to CS:GO and see how far he could push up the ladder. Andrew is a strong rifler, but is looking forward to shotcalling for his team in ESEA League Season 37.
Shilen started playing CS:GO in 2015. He has always been a competitive person starting early with school sports. After he started to take the game seriously and more competitively, the analytics of the game caught his attention.
In the summer/fall of 2019, Shilen played in NACCS with his collegiate team as an IGL and AWP role. He continues to play for his collegiate team at Penn State as a rifler. Shilen has also played on the STORM team in seasons 34, 35, and 36 as an IGL and Captain. He is very excited for the opportunity to manage the STORM rosters and is hopeful for achievements throughout this season and onwards.
